 Dehradun: Once again the human face of Uttarakhand Police has come to the fore.  Police saved a man from committing suicide in Raiwala.  In fact, when a person who was under pressure financially for a long time turned to the forest to take the wrong step, showing readiness, the police also reached the forest behind.  The police saved the person by keeping the promise of being a friendly police.

 

 Raiwala's station president Bhawan Chandra Pujari gave information and told that on Sunday, Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, a resident of Pratit Nagar, Raiwala, had informed about his brother Lalit Mohan Batrawal's departure from the house without informing him.  He had told that his brother was going through trouble and might take wrong steps.

 As soon as the information was received, an alert was sent to the police force immediately.  First the location of Lalit Mohan's mobile was traced.  From which it was revealed that he is presently 38 km from Raiwala near the road leading to Narendra Nagar from the forest area under Rani Pokhari.  After which immediately contact was made with Ranipokhari police station president Shishupal Rana.

 In the meantime, when the police station reached the forest, he saw that Lalit was trying to commit suicide by hanging a rope from a tree.  The police immediately stopped him and extinguished it and handed it over to the family members.  During interrogation, Lalit Mohan told that he had got 30 to 35 lakh investments from many people in a private company.  But now the company is not returning the money.  Because of which he left the house to commit suicide.  The SSP has announced an award to the police team.
